SAFETY

  • No chew tool is indestructible. Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as teeth/Jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels). While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly.
  • Due to the sizes of some of the pieces we do not recommend our chewies for under 5's.
  • Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace if necessary if the item shows signs of wear and tear
  • Some people may chew the clasp and cord, this is not intended due to choking hazard. Discontinue use, and consider the tough guy chew stick that is not a necklace
  • If they have chewed through the clasp do not tie up and use without clasp. this is a strangulation hazard
  • Do not wear to bed

    The Chewie sensory pack I purchased has been well used by two pupils in my class. Being given permission to chew on something has helped both children. I has been beneficial for the rest of the class, as those with chewies can chew something without chewing on equipment that we all use. I have noticed how it has helped one 5 year old calm down and settle quicker into the class routine. He was having trouble saying "good bye" to Mum in the morning, but with his Chewie he settles much more quickly. Parents are also happier because clothing is not being chewed as much.
    Over all a great investment for my class.
