Sensory Sam Fundraising page- How does it work?
Sensory Sam hosts the funding page, where you the fundraiser use our url link to direct donors to your hosted fundraiser page on our website.
The fundraiser page includes a title, eg 'Run for Remarkable Kids', and Description section which you outline the terms and description of the fundraising event you are holding. It will likely hold the final date at which the fundraising will conclude, photos and or graphics to support your fundraising efforts.
Sensory Sam simply hosts and collects the donations for you. Once your fundraising campaign has concluded, Sensory Sam will Give you a special gift code which includes the Sum raised plus 15% contribution from us to spend on Sensory items at Sensory Sam.
The fundraiser is responsible for their promotion and any social media coverage of their fundraising campaign. Sensory Sam just simply hosts your page and collects donations.
Fundraisers are encouraged to update their fundraising page with new photos and 'updates', and encourage donors to add messages under the customer reviews just below, by emailing hello@sensorysam.co.nz- and we can update the page for you.
The fundraiser and Sensory Sam will need to sign an agreement, whereby the fundraiser will abide to act with honesty, transparency and integrity in promotion of their fundraising campaign and all interactions with donors.
Legal Bit
Sensory Sam will abide with the terms of agreement whereby Sensory Sam will contribute 15% of all funds raised in addition to the total sums raised to a gift order discount code at the conclusion of the fundraising campaign. The agreement will contain a waiver whereby if the fundraiser is deemed to be acting in bad faith towards Sensory Sam or the donators, then Sensory Sam reserves the right to refund the donors in full, and the 15% contribution will no longer be valid.
How do I Apply?
Email Adam at hello@sensorysam.co.nz with your fundraising idea 'pitch' , We will review and email you with any further queries or let you know if your application has been approved.
Fundraising Application Questions

- Name of Fundraising idea and brief explanation of how you intend to run your campaign.
- Benefactor or Organisation to receive Sensory Sam items at conclusion of fundraising Campaign.
- Explain who your benefactor is , and what makes your benefactor or Organisation a worthy cause for fundraising.
- What dates does your campaign begin and conclude?
- How do you plan to promote your fundraiser?
- How many people are involved?
